Pamela’s Owners second visit to the White House!

It has been nearly four years since President Barack Obama’s first Inauguration, and Pam Cohen and Gail Klinginsmith’s first visit to the White House.

You may remember the first time President Obama bestowed upon these women the honor of cooking for him, his family and the veterans of war on Memorial Day, 2009.  Now again, January 2013, Inauguration is upon us, and he has again honored them with an invitation to the White House! This time they will not be cooking, but they will be sharing the honor of welcoming him back for his second term!

President Obama and his wife Michelle have been long time Pamela’s enthusiasts, ever since his first visit to our Strip District location on Primary day in 2008.   Since then he has made sure to mention us, or has endeavored to frequent one of our restaurants each time he comes to Pittsburgh, PA.

We do our best to post stories like this before the news gets a hold of them, and be the first to write one of our own and publish it for our customers to enjoy!

After receiving so many wonderful photographs from Pam and Gail over the past three days, images of themselves with Vice President Biden, as well as Pamela’s nephew Jacob Somogye with Michelle Obama, here is a look in to the fun they are having at the White House 2013 during Inauguration weekend!
